There are a lot of sick people in the world and this CNN producer is at the top of the list. Recently a former CNN producer made news after receiving a 19-year prison sentence in Vermont for committing child sex crimes.
John Griffin a 45-year-old CNN employee entered a plea agreement in December. He confessed to connecting with a woman through a website and where they agreed to bring her nine-year-old daughter to Ludlow for a meet-up where illicit sexual acts were performed on the child.

The government dropped two additional charges of enticing a minor in exchange for his plea deal.
The indictment against Griffin reports that from April to July 2020, Griffin utilized the messaging applications Kik and Google Hangouts to communicate with people purporting to be parents of minor daughters. In these communications, he conveyed to the parents, among other ideas, that a “woman is a woman regardless of her age,” and that women should be sexually subservient and inferior to men.

Griffin used these communications with parents to persuade them in allowing him to train their daughters to be sexually submissive. In June 2020, Griffin advised a mother in one of these communications that it was the mother’s responsibility to see that her old daughter, then 13 years old, was “trained properly.”
Griffin later transferred over $3,000 to the mother for plane tickets so the mother and her 9-year-old daughter could fly from Nevada to Boston. The mother and child made the trip in July of 2020, where Griffin picked them up and drove them to his Ludlow house. At Griffin’s home the child was directed by Griffin and her mother to engage in, unlawful sexual activity.

Griffin also attempted to entice two other children over the internet to engage in his sexual perversion. In April 2020, Griffin engaged in a “virtual training session” over a video chat that had him instructing a mother and her 14-year-old daughter to remove their clothing and touch each other at his direction. In June of 2020, Griffin proposed to a purported mother of a 16-year-old daughter that she take a “little mother-daughter trip” to Griffin’s Ludlow ski house. The trip was for the purpose of sexual training the child.
CNN fired Griffin after his 2021 arrest.
