The alarm bells are sounding in the Democrat-Socialist circles of Washington, D.C., and particularly in New York, as it has become clear that in their unrestrained zeal to appease their corporate overlords and radical leftist base at the same time, they have betrayed and abandoned both their labor movement and black American voters. This is happening all over the United States, however, nowhere is the hammer falling harder than in New York. The State of New York still reeling from the catastrophic Governorship of Andrew Cuomo ending in disgrace is still staggering forward with his COVID policies under now Gov. Kathy Hochul who has imposed a punishing vaccination mandate on the entire healthcare segment of the economy, and under the petty principality of New York City, Mayor Bill de Blasio mired now in his own corruption investigation has mandated that all public venues require the use of an “Excelsior pass” a vaccine passport.

So what does this leave? New York’s medical system is teetering on collapse as tens of thousands of medical professionals, doctors and nurses find themselves suddenly unemployed. And in New York City, the local economy has never recovered due to the harsh restrictions… restrictions that The Federalist has revealed and not …. what’s the left’s favorite word these days? Ah, yes… “equitable”.

Bedford observes in his detailed monologue that New York City has “mangled their schools, their parks, their police force, and their courts, all in the name of fighting racism.” but at the end of the day most of the changes they’ve made have hurt black Americans far more than whites. But of course he explains “it’s the effort that counts”. Let’s take that one step further, it isn’t even ‘the effort’ that actually counts… its the OPTICS. Health workers in New York who were praised and hailed as they great heroes of 2020 are by a MASSIVE plurality, black women, who in today’s New York City find themselves not only unemployed, but persona non grata in most establishments, effectively setting black Americans in New York back about sixty years, accept now they can’t even get into a club in Harlem.
The built-in failure of the Democrat party is no longer the racism of the klan that built it up through the post-bellum midwest as a reaction that followed The Great Migration of black Americans from the rural south and the Dixiecrats to the industrialized midwest and northeast best exemplified by the 1924 ‘KKK Klanbake’ known as the Democratic National Convention. No, now black Americans and the American labor movement are feeling the sting of abuse and neglect from the radical socialists in charge of the DNC that is felt by what the Soviets called ‘useful idiots’ who have outlived their usefulness. What they do not realize, is that an anger and a resentment is building that they will not be able to channel or control. And in the end the very Americans they’ve manipulated will be their destruction.
