There is no legitimate self-defense reason to shoot it out with another driver on the highway. Especially with children in the car. “There could have been two dead kids because of two stupid grown men,” Nassau County Sheriff Bill Leeper scolds. This latest news from the state of Florida is another glaring indicator that our once great nation is in a total state of collapse. Wake up and stand up before it’s too late.
Family feud shoot out
Two girls, aged 5 and 14, are both expected to survive bullet wounds, after a shoot out between their dads put their lives in danger.
The “wild ‘cat and mouse‘ Florida road rage incident” left the teen “with a collapsed lung.” The two men who shot each other’s daughters were both charged with attempted murder. It happened Saturday night, October 8.
After police sorted the timeline of events on who started to shoot first, they report that 35-year-old William Hale of Douglas, Georgia, “shot Frank Allison’s 14-year-old daughter Shelby in the back, causing a collapsed lung.”

That was after 43-year-old Allison, of Callahan, Florida, “shot Hale’s 5-year-old daughter in the leg.”
Nassau County Sheriff Bill Leeper wishes he could charge all the adults with criminal stupidity. He doesn’t know where to begin listing all the evidence of that. That’s not a crime but trying to shoot someone is.
“What is scarier than one crazy driver with a gun? Two crazy drivers with a gun. Thankfully, no one was killed in this incident. But it could have been very easily turned out that way because two people were acting stupid and let their tempers get the best of them. There could have been two dead kids because of two stupid grown men.” The grown women in the vehicles weren’t much better.
Escalating family feud
The whole sordid story began “around 6 p.m. on U.S. Highway 1 near Callahan, just outside Jacksonville.” Five members of the Hale family were in a black Dodge Ram, including William’s mother Britney.
In a gray Nissan Murano, Frank Allison, his wife Jessica and daughter Shelby were “heading home to Georgia.” When the idiot met the maniac, road rage ensued and escalated to a mindless shoot out.
“Both men accused the other of ‘brake checking‘, driving erratically and dangerously.” None of the adult women involved bothered to nag the testosterone charged alpha males into backing down to prevent the impending shoot out.
In particular, Jessica Allison had to throw gasoline on the fire. She edged up the hostilities by rolling down the window. When Jessica “began making offensive gestures at the Hale vehicle,” The Hales retaliated with missiles. “The Hales then threw a water bottle into the Allison vehicle.”
Frank Allison blasted back with lead, “believing he had hit the Hales’ tires – when in fact he had hit the girl.” Not to be outdone, Hale returned fire, “striking Allison’s daughter who was riding in the car with one of seven or eight rounds he unloaded into the speeding vehicle.” That’s when they decided to get the cops involved.
“My daughter’s been shot — please help me,” one mother pleaded to 911, with a child weeping in the background, “I don’t want to die.” Both drivers continued the chase until stopped by the Sheriff. Even then, the shoot out wasn’t enough. They “began arguing and fighting with each other by the side of the road, and the deputy had to break up the fight.“
