I cannot help but go back to the days of the Trump administration on this report.
How many times did Donald Trump warn everyone that China was the biggest threat to this country.
They mocked him and accused him of being in bed with Putin.
Well, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs General Milley just put that idea to bed.
Number Two
This is actually an exacta for Trump.
Something else that Trump often warned about was how badly our military was in terms of new equipment.
During a recent congressional hearing, General Milley sounded like a Trump clone.
Regarding China, he stated, “They have a national goal to be a global — to be the global — coequal with the United States and superior militarily by mid-century.
“They’re on that path to do that and that’s really disturbing. That’s really bothersome.
“We’re going to have to not only keep pace, but we have to outpace that, and that will assure the peace.
Milley continued, “We are probably not going to be able to do anything to stop slow down, disrupt, interdict or destroy the Chinese nuclear development program that they have projected out over the next 10 to 20 years.
“They’re going to do that in accordance with their own plan.
“And there’s very little leverage, I think, that we could do externally to prevent that from happening.”
Every time I see report like this I get sick to my stomach that Trump could not figure out a way to smile and play nice so he could have won a second term.
How different this country would be today had he done that.
