The judge in the fraud case that Letitia James brought against Trump just set the stage for Trump to easily win this case.
The judge valued Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate at $18 million.
That is undervalued significantly, already giving Trump grounds for an appeal.
Crazy
If you check recent listings in the area, properties much smaller than Trump’s that are just residences have sold for more than $200 million.
Mar-a-Lago has thousands more square footage, not to mention the deal with the nearby golf course and banquet facilities.
Trump responded, “I built a great company and I have a disclaimer clause in the agreement.
“He says that Mar-a-Lago is worth 18 million dollars when it is worth probably 100 times that, 1.8 billion dollars and there are others in there too.”
Now, I don’t know about $1.8 billion, but I think $1 billion is probably a reasonable evaluation.
Remember, this is what that judge based his decision on, and why he is allowing the case to move head, has revoked Trump’s business license, and ordered his New York business into receivership.
You know Trump will appeal this, and while I am not a legal expert, I just don’t see any way he loses this case.
