Please don’t file contempt of Congress charges, against me, Christopher Wray begged on Wednesday. He offered, at the last minute, to play show and tell. James Comer is thinking it over but warned Chris that what he really wants is a copy of the document and will probably go ahead and file charges. He may wait until he gets a peek at what the FBI actually shows him to decide.
Christopher Wray pleads for mercy
On Wednesday, May 31, at the absolute last minute, Christopher Wray gave the chairman of the House Oversight Committee a jingle and begged James Comer, “please don’t hit me with contempt charges.” He’s confidant that such a move would only be symbolic, because his boss, Merrick Garland, would handle the prosecution.
Even so, Chris was rattled enough to cave most of the way. While still unwilling to produce the actual document, he’s offering the same deal Antony Blinken used to get out of the same jam.
Iowa Senator Charles Grassley sat in on the conference call as an interested party. It’s his whistleblower who revealed the existence of “an internal law enforcement document that Republicans believe will shed light into an allegation that then-Vice President Joe Biden was involved in a criminal scheme with a foreign national.”

The criminal scheme was a bribe and there’s at least $5 million involved. Joe was supposed to do something as his end of the deal and it’s all allegedly spelled out in the disputed document. Wray continues to insist that he is actually “cooperating” even though he refuses to comply with the subpoena.
The FBI claims they can’t even let Congress see the document in question because “it contains raw and unsubstantiated intelligence.” One of the things Comer wants to know is why the evidence remains “unsubstantiated.” By now, it should either be definitively debunked or proven to be accurate.
If accurate, Joe Biden should be in jail for it and clearly isn’t. Wray is willing to let Comer and his Democrat committee colleague see the document where it sits. After he runs a magic marker over a few things. The Federal Bureau of Instigation is clearly hiding something, so Comer says he still might file the paperwork.
Important security interests
Joe Biden continues to follow the advice of his lawyers and refute everything. He denies the sun comes up in the east, calling such an “unverified claim as another one of Republicans’ unfounded politically-motivated attacks.”
In order to avoid messy litigation which has a slim chance of ending with him on the inside of the cell bars, Christopher Wray offered a deal.
The FBI is willing to “make the information available” to Comer “in a format and setting that maintains confidentiality and protects important security interests and the integrity of FBI investigations.”

No matter how much he wants to just send over a clean copy of the requested evidence, “there are limitations on its ability to share unsubstantiated raw intelligence outside the bureau.” Those limitations are that they would reveal how the Chris Wray and Merrick Garland really run this country behind the scenes.
Since regaining the majority in the House, conservative Republican lawmakers have been relentless in their pursuit of Hunter Biden and the rest of the Biden family who reaped millions from America’s enemies.
Chris Wray didn’t have any control over the banks which got subpoenas from Comer so he already has his hands on all the evidence he needs to show “that the Biden family received millions of dollars in payments from foreign entities in China and Romania, including when Biden was vice president.” Even the grandkids got a slice.
