Democrat Senator Caught Lying About 90,000 New IRS Agents…

In reality, the “Inflation Reduction Act” just adds about 87,000 additional agents to the IRS and more so focuses on the environment.

Democrats swear that the change is necessary to better serve the American people and ensure the wealthiest pay their fair share. However logically it doesn’t seem necessary unless the IRS is planning to target more individuals than just the wealthy.

Democrats are desperate to have the IRS, which is one of the most hated federal agencies, to have more members that the Pentagon, State Department, FBI, and Border Patrol combined.

The Inflation Reduction Act was negotiated by Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.), who proposed to offer the agency $80 billion to hire more workers, which is more than double the amount of employees they currently have.

The Congressional Budget Office released a study which showed how adding more IRS agents would increase federal revenue by over $200 billion in the next ten years alone. Over half of the money is being designated for “enforcement,” like tax audits and “digital asset monitoring.”

This funding would increase the IRS’s budget by over 600%.

Democrats have argued that the increase in agents will help in capturing criminals and tax fraudsters even though federal tax receipts have been going up in numbers for the past few decades.

Meanwhile, Democrats’ have proposed $450 billion in increased expenditure calls for new funding sources. This new spending includes $64 billion in new Affordable Care Act subsidies and $161 billion for clean power tax credits.

Ironically enough, only 4 to 9 percent of the funds raised by the IRS will actually come from people earning more than $500,000 annually.

The Senate Republicans have opposed the legislator, noting that it would be better used for other purposes.

“When faced with the decision to spend $45 billion on America’s largest revenue collection agency, or give it back to parents to help them get their kids the help they need, the Senate needs to choose the latter option every single time,” Scott said.

During a recent Fox News interview, a Democratic senator asserted that American taxpayers shouldn’t be concerned about a significant expansion of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in legislation enacted by the Senate.

“Millions of Americans aren’t going to be impacted by that, other than getting better service from the IRS, having their telephone answered and getting the questions they need in order to comply with our tax laws,” Sen. Ben Cardin of Maryland told “Fox News Sunday” host Mike Emanuel, who asked about the expansion.

The auditing is going to be focused on those of high income, the large corporations etc., so there’s no reason to be fearful and if you paid your taxes and comply with our laws, you should want to make sure everyone else does,” Cardin continued that many have naturally expressed fear that the government is effectively preparing an army to go after the American people.

It’s basically like “Comply with the tax increases and agents won’t harass you.”

Obviously we can see that this poses more of a threat and concern to the average American as compared to solely targeting big businesses and the wealthy.

As House Minority Whip John Thune noted, “Yet 4 percent of the $80 billion is going to taxpayer services; 57 percent goes to enforcement so that the IRS can spend more time harassing taxpayers around this country.”

This act does little to nothing to stop inflation, despite the White House’s promises to the contrary. In a study by Moody’s Analytics, the Democratic bill will only reduce the Consumer Price Index by.33 percent over the following ten years.
