Even though a lot of MAGA supporters no longer watch Fox News, I think even they would agree that Brian Kilmeade is one of their own.
He defends Trump at every turn, and now he is furious that Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) is not getting the full support of the GOP caucus.
So upset, in fact, he got caught on a hot mic criticizing a Republican for not voting for Jordan.
The Hot Mic
Rep. Don Bacon (R-NE) is among the resistance against Jordan.
He remains a McCarthy supporter and voted for McCarthy when the vote was taken for Speaker.
Bacon was the first vote that was given against Jordan, and Kilmeade lost it with a hot mic near him.
You could hear Kilmeade call Bacon a “dumbass” after he cast his vote.
My guess is that Kilmeade’s head was going to explode by the end of the session, as Jordan came nowhere near the total he needed, getting fewer votes than Democrat candidate Hakeem Jeffries.
On day two, Jordan got one less vote, so it seems unlikely that he will to where he needs to be, especially because there are already four members who say they will never vote for him.
This means Jordan has not a single vote to spare, so somehow he has to convince 18 other members that he is their guy.
