The idiocy of people never ceases to amaze me.
There is a viral video going around now that started on TikTok.
A group of golfers at Utah’s Fox Hollow Golf Club came upon a sinkhole during their round and quite frankly, one of them is lucky he did not fall in.
That’s Genius
As they approached the hole, they noticed that a sinkhole had started to develop.
At this point, it was relatively small, but it was increasing rapidly.
One of them got the bright idea to sit on the edge, putting himself in danger of falling in, but he just had to get that picture.
While he is sitting there, you can see the ground starting to give.
Thankfully, the genius got up, but only moments later, the exact spot where he was sitting caved in.
From the reports I read, that entire hole was underwater by the end of the day.
A word to the wise…
If you come upon a developing sinkhole, give it a wide berth and don’t try to catch a cool shot for clicks because you could easily fall in and drown in a matter of seconds.
