The conversation these days between Democrats might go a little something like this…
“Hey, you doing anything this weekend?”
“Actually, yeah, I figured I would jump on a government plane, fly to Taiwan, waste some taxpayer money, get some cool photos, stay in a first-class hotel, and possibly start a war with the Chinese.”
“Wow, that sounds like fun… can I go?”
“Sure, the more the merrier!”

We all saw House Speaker Pelosi (D-CA) take her trip and upset China, and now Senator Markey (D-MA) decided to do the same thing.
They all give the same excuse… it shows support for Taiwan.
Senator, the Chinese do not even know who you are, but when they saw that plane in the air, they did ramp up exercises in the area again.

History tells us that a president at war tends to get re-elected.
Maybe this is their sick plan to keep power with Joe Biden failing so miserably right now.
