Illegal Alien Rapist Caught After Being Freed On Just $500 Bail

An illegal alien flown into the U.S. as part of President Joe Biden’s migrant parole program was released on just $500 bail in Boston after allegedly raping a minor, but has finally been captured by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

In March, 26-year-old Haitian illegal alien Cory Alvarez was charged with the rape of a 15-year-old girl at a Massachusetts hotel that was being used as a shelter for illegal aliens. Police initially received a report about the rape on March 13, with the disabled teenage victim — also an illegal alien from Haiti — telling police via an interpreter that she had gone to Alvarez’s hotel room so he could help her with a tablet, but instead he forced himself on her.

“I asked him to leave me alone, but he didn’t stop,” the girl reportedly told police.

Alvarez was arrested and charged with aggravated child rape and initially held without bail. However, in late June, Judge Susan E. Sullivan released him on just $500 bail, despite the heinousness of his alleged crimes and the fact that he was a clear flight risk as an illegal alien.

ICE’s Boston branch of Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) had filed a retainer on Alvarez to take him into custody for deportation, but the sanctuary city judge ignored that request.

Alvarez was finally captured by ICE agents on the morning of August 13, according to Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin.

“ICE has found & arrested a Haitian migrant charged w/ aggravated child rape after local authorities in sanctuary state Massachusetts released him on just $500 bond,” Melugin wrote in a post on X.

“He flew into the U.S. last year as part of Biden admin’s controversial mass parole program, which DHS has now paused after an internal audit found significant fraud in the program,” he explained. “In this case, the suspect was supposed to be with his parole sponsor in Newark, NJ. Instead, as a single adult male, he somehow ended up at a hotel for migrant families outside of Boston, where he’s charged with raping a 15-year-old girl.”

Melugin also noted that over “half a million migrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela have now flown into the U.S. via this Biden parole program.”
