Kari Lake, a Republican from Arizona, has some important decisions to make in the near future.
Does she stay and fight her loss in the 2022 gubernatorial election or does she take her talents to D.C.?
With a number of options on the table, this dynamic force of nature is eager to find out what lies ahead.
At The Family Leadership Summit in Iowa, Kari Lake said that she believes she is the only candidate who could win next year’s Arizona Senate race if she decided to run for it.
Her statement comes with an impressive background; last month, one survey had her ahead of all other possible candidates in a hypothetical 2024 GOP Senate primary by 28 points according to Just the News.
A recent poll conducted by JL Partners also showed that 38% of registered Arizona Republicans and undeclared voters would vote for Lake should she decide on a run – despite not announcing anything yet.
Kari Lake teased what’s in store for her through a series of social media posts and interviews as speculation increases that she could be eyeing a U.S. Senate run next year.
In addition, analysts have speculated that there may be another role looming for her – Vice President!
Due to her close bond with former President Donald Trump and unwavering support of him throughout his tenure, many believe he will consider Kari for such an honor should he win back office once again during next year’s election cycle.
In fact, when asked about potential candidates in the GOP presidential nomination competition taking place next year, Trump was preferred over Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) by 23 points; 47% supporting Trump and 24% supporting DeSantis while 11% were undecided according to survey results reported by The Hill earlier this month.
Among other declared or potential candidates including Mike Pence, Mike Pompeo and Nikki Haley, all received single-digit support which further solidifies Kari Lakes place as top contender if chosen by Trump himself.
Earlier this month Judge John Hannah dismissed Maricopa County’s claim that they are legally obligated to not release ballot affidavit envelopes from last years election due them being an “integral part” of voter registration records – something Lake argued against while attempting to access them due to suspicious activity which lead up to her defeat last year.
With so much still left unanswered at this point in time it remains unclear exactly where Kari Lakes journey will take us but one thing is certain – no matter which route she chooses it looks like we’re going down quite the exciting road!
