These days it seems that fights are becoming more and more common in both airports and on flights themselves…and here’s another example.
In Dallas, Texas passengers witnessed drama unfold as a man alleged that another passenger on the flight bumped into his wife.
Video taken of the incident on March 6 shows a fight break out between the two men as other passengers attempt to stop the altercation.
In the midst of the chaos, one man wearing a sports jacket is seen yelling at one tattooed passenger, “You a p—-, you a p—-.”
The man wearing the sports jacket can be seen attempting to swing multiple punches at the other man while he held him in a tight headlock.
In the background onlookers can be heard saying “Do not hit him again” and “Step away.”
According to the woman who was responsible for filming the brawl, the tattooed man “bumped into his wife by accident, and he started mouthing off.” She then stated that the man in the sports jacket hit the other man “four to five times” prior to her recording the incident.
A second video shows the man in the jacket explaining to passengers how the tattooed man approached his family “aggressively” and ordering him to explain “what happened” to everyone.
The man in the sports jacket yelled, “He approached me aggressively with my family. I will sit down in jail for you approaching my family. I will die for my family. That’s why I beat your a–.”
According to the Dallas Police Department, both men were escorted off the plane and no arrests were made.
Thankfully, the Southwest flight from Dallas to Phoenix arrived on time despite the altercation.
A Southwest Airlines spokesperson released a statement:
“We commend our Crew for managing the situation as Safety professionals while also ensuring the comfort of the other passengers in the cabin.”
