Surprise… Senator Raphael Warnock (D-GA) has yet another little dirty secret buried in that very large closet of his.

It would appear that Warnock has been running a bit of a hustle on voters.

While openly railing against corporations taking over housing, he has secretly been loading up his campaign coffers with their money.

Who Do You Represent

Employees at Blackstone have donated almost $38,000 to Warnock since 2020.

That is important because Blackstone has been gobbling up homes around Georgia and the country.

Due to rising property costs, Warnock has been advocating for this to stop because he says it is hurting minority home ownership.

For instance, during a recent Senate hearing, Warnock stated, “Georgians don’t have the luxury of waiting several years for home prices and rents to fall.

“I think we need research to effectively understand how private equity is impacting markets in Atlanta and Georgia and across the country, and I look forward to introducing legislation very soon to address that very issue.”

Well, Senator, Blackstone has about $130 billion invested in this niche, so why are you taking their money?

Brian An, a professor at Georgia Tech’s School of City and Regional Planning, stated, “When this happens, African American (would-be) individual homebuyers fare relatively worse than other race groups in terms of bidding/purchasing for those homes considered by corporate investors.

“When corporate landlords convert those properties to rental stock, new renters for such renovated single-family apartments are likely to be non-African Americans.”

Stephen Lawson, a Republican strategist in Georgia, stated, “In the typical Washington Way, Raphael Warnock is lining his pocket with campaign cash while Georgians get kicked to the curb and struggle to pay for gas groceries as a result of his disastrous voting record.

“Warnock is playing evictor in chief — but come November, the voters will have the final say, and it’ll be Warnock who gets left out in the cold.”

This is a problem for Warnock, no matter how vehemently his campaign and the Democrat Party pretend it not to be.

This is exactly the break that Walker needs to make up some ground on Warnock.
