You would be hard pressed to find someone that Trump abused as much as Jeb Bush during the 2016 campaign.
I would actually say you could extend that well past the election, as Trump never let up on the Bush family.
To that point, the last person I would expect to stick up for Trump over the Bragg indictment would be Jeb Bush.
But, lo and behold. Bush came out in his defense.
It’s That Bad
The case against Trump is ridiculous; even Jeb Bush had to speak up against it.
He stated, “Bragg’s predecessor didn’t take up the case.
“The Justice Department didn’t take up the case.
“Bragg first said he would not take up the case.
“This is very political, not a matter of justice.
“In this case, let the jury be the voters.”
What makes this even worse is that Bragg is now dragging this out to a single count over every ledger entry, which is utterly ridiculous, but that is the only way he could convert an expired misdemeanor into a felony.
There is simply no way this case should ever see the inside of a courtroom.
