We warned them… they cannot say we didn’t.
Rep. George Santos (R-N.Y.) was poison from the moment he took office.
Yet, McCarthy and other Republicans defended him when there was no defense.
Now he has been indicted on more than a dozen charges.

Unlike the 34-count indictment against Donald Trump, the indictment against Santos is legitimate.
He faces 13 federal charges, including wire fraud, money laundering, and public theft of funds.
Everyone wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt… innocent until proven guilty.
I get all that, but the man literally lied about everything on his resume to get elected, and he should have been booted the moment it was revealed that he had frauded voters.
Now all he does is give Democrats more fodder to use in the upcoming election against the entire Republican Party.
You better believe pictures of him shaking hands with various members of the party are going to be used in campaign ads.
United States Attorney Peace stated, “This indictment seeks to hold Santos accountable for various alleged fraudulent schemes and brazen misrepresentations.
“Taken together, the allegations in the indictment charge Santos with relying on repeated dishonesty and deception to ascend to the halls of Congress and enrich himself.
“He used political contributions to line his pockets, unlawfully applied for unemployment benefits that should have gone to New Yorkers who had lost their jobs due to the pandemic, and lied to the House of Representatives.
“My Office and our law enforcement partners will continue to aggressively root out corruption and self-dealing from our community’s public institutions and hold public officials accountable to the constituents who elected them.”
This is a disaster… and it lies right at the feet of McCarthy and every other Republican that embraced this clown and put our movement at risk.
