It’s no surprise that Eric Swalwell got kicked off the House Intelligence Committee. He can’t keep his lip zipped any better than his pants. Democrats out to “pre-bunk” the pending congressional investigation into Just Us Department corruption invited him to sit in on their press briefing. That was a big mistake, they soon learned. The same disgraced lawmaker who dated a Chinese spy “repeatedly referred to Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop as real.”
Swalwell no help to Democrats
Democrats were right to assume that Eric Swalwell would have an ax to grind against House Republicans after being “booted from the House intelligence committee last week by Speaker Kevin McCarthy.” Simply because he had been sleeping with a Chinese “honey pot” spy.
According to the New York Post, he “repeatedly referred to Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop as real during a press call Monday.” He also is taking heat for “incorrectly” blasting the new committee chair, James Comer, “as a 2020 election-results denier.”
Swalwell allegedly “made the remarks in a Zoom press briefing organized by the Congressional Integrity Project.” The progressive group “aims to counter investigations of Biden by Comer.” They were mad, on January 30, about Comer’s remarks earlier that day at the National Press Club.

One of Comer’s big hot button issues is finding out if Hunter Biden had his hands on Joe’s classified documents. The Democrats are out to do damage control by getting in front of things to attack the investigators for anything they can cook up.
Swalwell has been a controversial character ever since the public found out about his “personal relationship with suspected Chinese spy Fang Fang.” Nobody on the committee trusted him after that.
While he was on it, he had plenty of time to “learn about the authenticity of the first son’s laptop.” Every time he mentioned it in the call, it was obvious he considered the evidence authentic.

Remind them of the COVID relief
Conservatives are really glad to hear the best answer Democrats can come up with. Every time Republicans “want to go deeper and deeper, you know, into the gigabytes of Hunter Biden’s laptop,” Swalwell suggests, “remind people that when we had the House, the Senate and the White House, we were, you know, bringing relief to families because of what happened during COVID.”
That’s sure to prevent the impending street riots. Things are well on their way to a repeat of what’s going on in Brazil.
Swalwell, the Post points out, obviously doesn’t doubt the laptop’s legitimacy. He just threw sour grapes about it. “If you’re so interested in what was on Hunter Biden’s laptop, you should do that in your private time, not on the taxpayer’s dime.”

All the conservative taxpayers are interested. Comer isn’t going to give up easily. Democrats are still reeling that their attempt to pawn it off as Russian disinformation blew up in their faces.
Enough of the contents have made it out to the public that it has become common knowledge that there are emails and other documents linking Joe, James and Hunter Biden to well paying “business relationships in China, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Russia and Ukraine, prompting questions about possible corruption and conflicts of interest in public policy.”
Swalwell wasn’t much help with strategy to block the probes. He admits that it was true that the emails exist. They show “he paid as much as ‘half’ of his income to his father.” Another from 2017 “confirms 10% of a financial windfall being held for the ‘big guy‘ as part of a business deal being negotiated in China.“
