Trump Co-Defendants Surrender to Authorities

The recent surrender of two more co-defendants in the ongoing election fraud case against former President Donald Trump highlights the gravity of this situation.

This is a significant development for the Republican party, and many are asking if justice will be served.

Here, we take a closer look at Cathy Latham and David Shafer’s roles in this case, as well as other defendants who have already surrendered themselves to authorities.

Cathy Latham and David Shafer were granted bond after they surrendered to authorities on Tuesday.

Latham faces 12 charges in total, including violations of RICO Act and conspiracy to defraud the state of Georgia; she was released on a $75,000 bond.

Similarly, Shafer was also released on a $75,000 bond.

Both are high-ranking members within the Republican Party with considerable influence.

Scott Hall is an Atlanta-based bail bondsman who was booked into Fulton County Jail last week; he has been assigned a $10,000 bond for seven charges related to his alleged actions in Coffee County.

John Eastman – formerly an attorney for Trump – accepted a $100,000 bond upon his release from jail; he faces charges related to advice given to Trump about overturning the 2020 election results.

Eastman expressed his innocence upon release by stating that he had surrendered “to an indictment that should never have been brought”.

This is not the first criminal case brought against former President Donald Trump however, it may be one of most impactful ones yet.
