The entire time that Democrats were trying to get their hands on Donald Trump’s tax returns, we said the same thing.
This was not about oversight.
This was about Dems trying to weaponize his tax returns and embarrass Trump for paying very little in taxes.
We, and Donald Trump, were right.
Release Them
The House committee announced this week that it would release Trump’s returns.
From the reports I have seen, Trump paid very little in taxes over the last decade.
This was possible because he took massive business losses that he was able to LEGALLY carry forward.
Anyone that has a business knows this tax law all too well.
I have not yet seen anything mentioning something that Trump did that was illegal.
I would also guarantee you members of Congress that took a big loss in the market or that had a business that had a bad year at some point took advantage of the same laws.
Just as Trump stated, this whole thing is nothing more than a witch hunt.
