Biden Unfroze Billions Of Dollars For Iran After Election

Dirty Biden Move Right After Elections

Following President-elect Donald Trump’s historic election victory, President Joe Biden reportedly waived sanctions and unfroze billions of dollars for the terrorist regime of Iran.

The world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism was given access to billions of dollars of frozen assets thanks to the pro-war Biden-Harris administration as one of their final acts in office. Apparently, they have chosen to further destabilize the world just ahead of Trump’s inauguration, likely in an effort to sabotage his presidency while also aiding their warmonger allies.

A copy of the non-public order transmitted from the State Department to Congress was obtained by the Washington Free Beacon. The document revealed that Biden’s State Department claimed it was “in the national security interest of the United States” to allow the terror regime access to $10 billion.

“The Biden State Department tweaked the waiver last year to allow Tehran to convert the funds from Iraqi dinars to euros, then hold those euros in bank accounts based in Oman,” the outlet reported. “Access to a widely traded currency like the euro enables Iran to more easily spend the cash in international markets. Under the first Trump administration, Iran had to keep the cash in an escrow account in Baghdad, making it more difficult to access.”

The Biden-Harris administration has hilariously attempted to assert that Iran can’t use the money for terrorism because they ordered the funds to only be used for humanitarian purposes. Of course, in reality, money is fungible — meaning that Iran can now take the money that would have been used for non-terrorism purposes and use that money for terrorism, then replace it with the “humanitarian” money that the Biden-Harris administration unfroze.

Former Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, who died in May, acknowledged this in a 2023 interview with NBC News host Lester Holt while discussing other money that the Biden-Harris administration had unfroze.

“What is your expectation of its [the money’s] use?” Holt asked. “We’re told that it’s for humanitarian purposes — food and medicine. Do you believe you have the right to use that money in any way that you see fit?”

“This money belongs to the Islamic Republic of Iran, and naturally, we will decide, the Islamic Republic of Iran will decide to spend it wherever we need it,” Raisi responded. “How to spend our money of course, it is under the authority of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

Holt then asked: “So if I hear you clearly that it will be used for more than humanitarian purposes in your view?”

“Humanitarian means whatever the Iranian people need, so this money will be budgeted for those needs,” Raisi replied. “And the needs of the Iranian people will be decided and determined by the Iranian government.”
