Disgruntled Employee Takes Revenge Against Company To The Extreme

An excavator operator has been caught on film destroying a structure at the Pride of Rosseau Marina on the Muskoka Lakes.

The location is famous for having luxurious cottages and expensive boats for the wealthy.

After getting the incident on camera, the video was posted online captioned:

“You can’t make this up,” the resident wrote, “A disgruntled, fired employee from a marina near our lake house snapped and destroyed the entire marina with an excavator.”

It appears that the incident occurred as retaliation from an employee “being fired.”

Within the video, an excavator can be seen demolishing the second floor of a building.

The 59-year-old ex-employee was arrested by police and charged with mischief in relation to the incident.

In addition to the charges, the man was also handed a £3,200 fine and requested to appear in court.

The Ontario Provincial Police were not immediately available for comment at the time “We would never release anyone’s employment record,” said policeman Gosia Puzio, “In this case, it’s not relevant.”

The location of the incident can be quite expensive, as homes listed in the area are going for more than $14 million.

According to Geordie Newlands, owner of SWS Muskoka, which also has marinas nearby, was “terrible”.

He stated that multiple other buildings suffered damages and made a prediction that the repair costs could be “in the millions.”

“Luckily nobody got hurt, which is a good thing,” he said. “It was almost surreal what happened. For something like that to happen… it’s like fiction.”
