Former Kamala Aide Crashes & Burns LIVE On Air

Former Kamala Harris spokesperson Symone Sanders’s TV debut slumped in the ratings, the New York Post reported. Sanders, who in January left Kamala Harris’ office to hold an MSNBC Talk show at 4 p.m., hooked a mere 361,000 viewers, according to Nielsen rankings. The post noted she “managed to attract just 29,000 viewers in the advertiser-coveted 25-54 demographic.”

While Sanders said she would certainly not be “a spokesperson for the Biden administration” on the series, her very first guest was actually First Lady Jill Biden. Sanders mentioned her as well as Biden referred to “some pretty heavy topics,” including “details about her family” and also her work teaching English at Northern Virginia Community College.

“I’m not here to be a spokesperson for the Biden administration,” Sanders told The Hill’s “In the Know.”

“I had that job already,” she said.

“I’m going to be honest, and sometimes the honesty means that what I have to say is not what the administration would have to say. And that’s fine because it’s my show.”

Taking a look at the show, these statements seemed disingenuous at best.

Sanders is actually far from the only Harris aide to bail out.  Harris’ Cheif of Staff in April ended up being the 12th employee to quit after reports that Harris is a “toxic” and “abusive” employer.

Harris’s ratings are also much worse than Sanders’s. A poll last month found that Harris is underwater even in her deep-blue home state of California.

Sanders’s flop TV program might be a warning signal for White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, who this week is also leaving behind the Biden management to become an MSNBC host. Karine Jean-Pierre, was a paid on-air political analyst for NBC News and MSNBC before she joined the White House to replace Psaki and her first outing against a Fox News’ Doug Doocy proved an embarrassing nightmare. And Sanders’ floundering start on the other side seems to suggest that the Mainstream-media WhiteHouse pipeline doesn’t work well in either direction.

Sanders’ milquetoast, soft-ball, sweetheart interview with Dr. Jill Biden barely skirted the topic of the Bidens’ controversial family and the ongoing investigations of her son Hunter and brother in law James were completely sidestepped. It was an utterly partisan, biased display that was neither informative nor newsworthy.
