Now that all of the trial dates have either been set or requested, legal experts are chiming in.

If Democrats have their way, Donald Trump will be tied up in court for the entire primary season.

Two top legal experts say that will never happen.

Too Close

Generally speaking, when someone has trials stacked up like this, the judges will offer some leniency in terms of dissecting the evidence and spacing out the trials so the legal team can be properly prepared.

In each case that Trump has against him, the evidence his team must go over is rather significant.

Now, we would expect his team to ask for continuances, and they be granted, but you just never know in this climate.

And don’t forget, in all but one case, Trump has judges that are more or less against him.

Attorney and law professor Alan Dershowitz stated, “They’re trying to get convictions before the election.

“[But] they can’t get it done in two weeks, they know it will take longer than that.”

He added, “It’s like asking a brain surgeon to perform an operation with three days’ notice … it’s a rush to injustice.”

Jonathan Turley added, “[I]t seems unlikely that most [trials] will proceed as scheduled. There are threshold challenges and dispositive motions that will have to be addressed. Some may involve appeals.”

“[T]hese dates seem highly optimistic and a tad opportunistic by prosecutors.”

I agree, but I would also like to see the case that could disqualify Trump concluded before the election.

And I know what some of you are thinking, but I would rather know if we have him or not before we start casting votes.

If we elect him, then find out he is ineligible to run, it will throw a big wrench into the plans to take back the White House in 2024.
