Fauci was caught red-handed, yet again! In a new report, it has been revealed that The National Institutes of Health (NIH) two top scientists, Dr. Anthony Fauci and Dr. Francis Collins, received a total of 58 royalty payments from companies that would license the Doctor’s inventions; inventions developed with taxpayer money.

The NIH collected more than $325 million in licensing fees from the companies over the past three years.
Just The News is reporting that after a mostly successful Freedom of Information Act battle with NIH OpenTheBooks.com, a transparency watchdog group, published more than 1,500 pages of unredacted records. These records identify which companies paid which NIH scientists for which inventions and when.
Out of these deposits Fauci received 37 payments from three companies between 2010-2021. Santa Cruz Biotechnology, which creates products for medical research including antibodies, paid Fauci 15 times, the fifth-most payments in the royalty database according to Openthebook.com records. The “good” doctor was 14 times from Ancell Corp., which produces immunology tolls, and 8 times from Chiron Corp., acquired by Novartis in 2006.

NIH funds are supposed to be used solely for medical research and treatments but it is apparent that Fauci has used his position to garner power and wealth for himself.
Although the answers may seem obvious these records raise questions about why these two scientists were so heavily monetized while other researchers weren’t given the same opportunity.
At a time when health care costs are rising faster than ever before, is it really appropriate for NIH officials to be receiving such large sums of money? Is there any evidence that these payments had an influence on how NIH conducts business?

These questions must be answered before Americans can have confidence that their tax dollars are being spent wisely. We also feel strongly that transparency is key when it comes to public spending and this situation doesn’t seem to meet those standards either.
The fact that these royalty payments were not publicly disclosed until now makes us question whether all relevant facts were taken into consideration during the decision-making process. We don’t want taxpayers’ hard-earned money going toward anything but medical research – not toward personal gain or private interests!

Ultimately, further investigation is needed into this matter in order to determine if pay-to-play politics played a role in how NIH distributed its funds over the past few years. Particularly Dr. Fauci and his sketchy leadership of the NIH should be investigated
