Elon Musk promised that Twitter would allow free speech.
That changed rather quickly after Ye started sending out more antisemitic posts.
Musk announced that he had suspended Ye’s account for the posting.
Too Far?
When Musk first took over Twitter, he stated that even controversial comments would be permitted, but they would not be given much reach.
I am paraphrasing here, but Musk had stated that you had the right to say whatever you wanted, but that did not mean that everyone would see it.
He stated that the algorithms would be put into play to restrict the reach of such comments.
Ye’s Nazi swastika inside a Star of David was apparently too much, however.

The question once again is if free speech is free if it has restrictions.
Most would agree the things that Ye is stating are repulsive, but he still has a right to say them.
