Kamala Gets Award For ‘Unwavering Commitment To Justice, Equity’

Kamala Gets Award For…

The NAACP has announced that failed Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris would be getting a Chairman’s Award, which supposedly honors people who “excel in public service and leverage their unique platforms to ignite and drive meaningful change.”

Harris will be receiving the award during the upcoming NAACP Image Awards on February 22.

NAACP National Board of Directors chairman Leon W. Russell issued a statement about the decision, heaping praise on the deeply unpopular former vice president.

“Vice President Kamala Harris is more than a leader – she is a force of change, driven by an unwavering passion to shape a brighter, more equitable future,” the statement began.

Russell went on to praise Harris for “relentless dedication to justice” — which is especially ironic considering her reputation for keeping people in prison past their release date to use as cheap labor, as well as for withholding evidence that would have exonerated a man on death row.

“It is with great honor that we present her with the Chairman’s Award at this year’s NAACP Image Awards, celebrating her relentless dedication to justice, equality, and the betterment of our society,” the statement continued. “Her legacy is built on courage, compassion, and a profound commitment to uplifting those who need it most. Her tireless advocacy for the most vulnerable among us has made her a beacon of hope and progress.”

NAACP president and CEO Derrick Johnson also praised Harris in another unbelievably ironic statement.

“Vice President Harris embodies the power, grace, and unyielding courage that Black women have long brought to the heart of the United States,” Johnson said. “With bold determination, Vice President Harris fights for justice, amplifies the voices of the marginalized, and stands as a beacon of hope. She embodies the resilience and brilliance of black women, uplifting their legacy as the driving force behind change in this country. VP Harris reminds us all that when black women lead, the entire nation rises.”

This is not the first time that the NAACP gave the award to a former vice president-turned-failed Democrat presidential candidate, as former Vice President Al Gore also previously received the Chairman’s Award. The NAACP has a long history of giving this award to leftists, including former President Barack Obama, Clinton administration Secretary of Commerce Ron Brown, the late Rep. John Lewis (D-GA), Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS), and Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA). Meanwhile, extremely successful conservative black Americans like economist Thomas Sowell and Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas have never been honored by the NAACP.
