Former Arizona Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake has recently made a statement on Twitter regarding the federal indictment of former President Donald Trump.
She has asked all presidential candidates in the 2024 race to suspend their campaigns and rally behind the ex-president.
In an interview with Newsmax, she argued that this was an egregious case of election interference and that a unified Republican party must fight it or else they will lose the country forever.
Lake is a close ally of Trump and had previously echoed his baseless claims about voter fraud in the 2020 election.
She also lost her bid for governor against Democrat Katie Hobbs by more than 17,000 votes yet still challenges the outcome claiming irregularities in how it was conducted.
This latest SHAM indictment is the line in the sand.

Trump was indicted on four charges related to investigation into efforts to overturn the 2020 election: conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding and conspiracy against rights.
He denies all wrongdoing but still has staunch supporters who believe there is prosecutorial misconduct going on here.
The other Republicans running for president have had mixed reactions regarding Trump’s indictment ranging from openly criticizing him, criticizing DOJ’s handling of this situation, or simply saying nothing at all which suggests they are too scared of alienating either side with their opinion.
Lake believes these candidates should back President Trump since he is what America needs right now “so we can save this great country” as she put it so eloquently during her interview with Newsmax’s Eric Bolling The Balance.
Despite multiple indictments thrown his way, Lake insists that “it’s only going to make his supporters more emboldened”.
It is obvious that we are headed towards a very controversial situation moving forward if no action is taken soon enough.
What can we do as citizens?
Well we should take our cues from Kari Lake because she is absolutely right when she says that a unified Republican party must fight this battle together otherwise we risk losing our beloved country forever.
