Senator Joe Manchin (D-W.V.) is in the fight for his political life.
He got duped by Senator Schumer (D-N.Y.) and Joe Biden by signing off on the Inflation Reduction Act.
Now his revenge tour continued.
Sweet Revenge
Manchin added the deciding vote for the Inflation Reduction Act because he was promised that a pipeline in West Virginia would be added to the next piece of legislation via an amendment.
When the Squad pushed back, threatening to quash the legislation, that amendment was removed, and Manchin looked like a fool.
Since then, he has been out to get Biden.
Now, for two key issues, he is going against the Democrat line again.
Dems want to replace Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) on the Judiciary Committee, but Joe says not so fast.
He stated, “That’s ridiculous. She was elected. She served admirably.
“We’ve had other members gone for a year or more at times, and no one called for their resignation.”
On the changes Biden’s EPA is making to EVs that will benefit Chinese companies, Manchin is also pushing back.
He stated, “In reality, this is a Trojan horse.
“To meet these timelines will mean strengthening our reliance on minerals and technologies controlled by the Chinese.”
He would go on to accuse the administration of “lying” to the American people.
EPA Administrator Michael Regan responded, “By proposing the most ambitious pollution standards ever for cars and trucks, we are delivering on the Biden-Harris administration’s promise to protect people and the planet, securing critical reductions in dangerous air and climate pollution and ensuring significant economic benefits like lower fuel and maintenance costs for families.”
That translates to Joe Biden is in the pocket of the Chinese and he will continue to do everything he can to ruin America and help the Chinese flourish, at least that is the way that I read it.
