Senator Joe Manchin (D-W.V.) has been on a roll as of late.
He knows he went a bit too far left recently.
So, now he is calling out Biden on some of the more right-leaning issues of his agenda.
Not Reality
Joe Biden recently tried to lure in the oil industry by saying it would be needed for another decade.
In reality, the industry will be needed for a much longer period, as the number of products used in this country that are made from oil are astronomical.
On Biden’s 10-year statement, Manchin stated, “He knows it’s going to be a lot longer than that. He knows that.
“Just to get that out of his mouth was something positive, I think, acknowledging, for at least ten years.
“So — and I’ve got to be careful how they’re trying to enforce the piece of legislation that we worked so hard on, the Inflation Reduction Act, to make sure that the coal communities and the coal opportunities and the coal plants that we have that are producing 24/7 energy in this country, and also, the oil, we need to produce 13-15 million barrels a day.”
Manchin has often attacked the Democrat agenda, but he always ends up folding in the end.
I fell for his act once, and I will not do it again.
