William Joyner was working as a manager at Feeding GA Families, a food bank in College Park, Georgia when a volunteer rushed into the break room claiming someone was in the parking lot with a gun. Joyner did not hesitate but went into action.

Local news outlet WAGA-TV reported that Joyner grabbed his gun, chambered a round, and went outside. The military vet caught up with the armed individual, who he held at gunpoint until cops could arrive. However, the incident didn’t go down as easily as it sounds.
Joyner had to make some threats to get the alleged perp to comply, telling him, “Don’t make me kill you — because I will.”

Security camera footage at the food bank caught the moment the volunteer rushed into the break room, as well as outside cameras, recorded Joyner crossing the parking lot with his gun at the ready. After catching up to the suspect, Joyner ordered the armed man to get on the ground.
The suspect, later identified by police as 20-year-old Jordan Shelley failed to comply completely. Shelley knelt on the ground but refused to show Joyner one of his hands. Joyner realized that Shelley was attempting to distract him as he slid his right hand toward his gun.

It was then that William Joyner decided to let Shelley know that he wasn’t messing around.
Fortunately for the suspect, a College Park police officer arrived on the scene before things escalated any further. The security footage shows the officer rounding the corner with his taser out. It was later revealed that Shelley, as well as another suspect identified as 21-year-old James Green, had fled from police in a stolen car.
