Retail Store SHUTS DOWN After LEAKED Pictures

An H&M store located in the Oculus at the World Trade Center has closed down after a Twitter post by a fellow employee went viral.

When the employee felt the company wasn’t taking a report seriously enough, they shared it on social media.

Going by the name Madesonee on Twitter, the employee posted a picture of a rack full of white-colored clothing crawling with bugs.

“I work at the H&M in the Oculus at World Trade and today a customer discovered lice on a rack of hoodies. They’re not closing the store nor are they notifying employees of the problem. The section was just blocked off,” Madesonee said in a Twitter post.

According to Madesonee, other employees hadn’t even been notified of the problem.

Obviously the post went viral, as many expressed their disgust at the situation. The employee herself even mentioned that she had been working for H&M for five years and had never experienced something like this before.

She claims that lice likely had been transmitted from the company’s warehouse since the store receives new clothing items each day.

The location closed shortly after the tweet went viral, and the company released a statement: “Out of an abundance of caution we have closed the H&M store at Westfield World Trade Center in order to investigate fully.”

As for Madesonee, she chose to resign following the incident. “I’m resigning because I hate it here,” she wrote.

She has also muted the Twitter post after expressing gratitude to her supporters.
