Remember when Joe Biden touted himself as someone that could work across the aisle?

Well, someone on his staff may want to remind him of that.

Biden is now threatening, for the second time, to veto bipartisan legislation.

Here We Go Again

Nothing gets on Joe Biden’s desk these days that is not bipartisan.

Even though the GOP has the House, the Democrats are running the Senate.

Yet, Biden has already used his veto pen once to make sure he can push his green agenda with our money.

His ESG rule will force investment into the renewable energy sector.

Biden is about to do it again with the Lower Energy Costs Act that was sponsored by Rep. Scalise (R-LA).

The legislation wants to lower energy prices by using more domestic energy to shore up our supply lines, but Biden does not want to do that.

So, the White House issued a statement that if this does get through, Joe Biden’s veto pen is coming back out.

The White House stated, “It would raise costs for American families by repealing household energy rebates and rolling back historic investments to increase access to cost-lowering clean energy technologies.

“Instead of protecting American consumers, it would pad oil and gas company profits – already at record levels – and undercut our public health and environment.

“H.R. 1 would also empower big companies to skirt the Clean Air Act by lifting pollution control requirements, weaken emissions requirements and worker protection for refineries using toxic chemicals, modify requirements under the bipartisan Toxic Substances Control Act for determining the safety of chemicals used in the energy sector, and repeal $1.5 billion in investments focused on curbing methane leaks that harm surrounding communities.”

So, dig into your pocket because those high energy bills are not going to go away anytime soon.
