Store Comes Under Fire After Employee’s Abuse Photos Go Viral

This girl made the decision to put her foot down and quit her job after what she had witnessed. She took it a step further when she posted pictures of what happens behind the scenes at the store she worked.

Originally, Katelyn Cerciello was excited to take a job at the Petland in Robinson Township, Pennsylvania, however after only one month she “couldn’t watch the owner refuse vet care for sick puppies anymore, ship them back to the Hunte Corporation to be euthanized, or in general sell puppy-mill puppies for thousands of dollars to the unknowing public.”

Rather than do nothing, Cerciello took to the interest to describe her experience as well as post pictures to prove her complaints.

Now, the store that once employed her is under fire for alleged animal abuse.

Cerciello explained to news outlets that “You could tell they were sick. -week-old puppies should be bouncing and playing, but they’d be lying on the floor.”

And despite her complaints to the store owner, they were more concerned with money and offered no help.

Petland Employee Katelyn Cerciello Exposes Cruel Treatment Of Animals

“I was basically horrified at the sight of white mice in the back room,” Katelyn wrote, including a graphic picture. “They were bloody, smelled like rotting flesh, and horrendous looking.”

In another post she mentioned how she discovered one of the supposed “breeders” was running a puppy mill.

When confronted about the allegations, the store owner, Jeff Koury, said that Cerciello has made everything up, including the pictures. Ironically, however, the company has since lawyered up.

Despite the store denying any wrongdoing, multiple customers have come forward to express complains about bad experiences with the store and how the animals they bought were not in good condition.
