Teen Beauty Queen Faces Jail Time For This MAJOR Crime

Madison Cox, a seventeen-year-old who may be a beauty queen, who has won Miss Spartanburg International and then Miss South Carolina Teen International, proves popularity isn’t enough.

The beauty queen allegedly fabricated doctor’s papers prescribing her an extended absence from school. Cox now may spend some time in jail after being arrested for the forgery.

People are known for abusing power, even if its perceived power, and Cox is not an exception. Cox a high school student at Byrnes High School, allegedly used a pad she stole from Parris Family Chiropractic, to write herself doctor’s letters to excuse herself from class, the Duncan Police reported.

According to Duncan Police, Cox did not go to Parris Family Chiropractic on the days she mentioned in her notes. The office was even closed on a few occasions where she claimed to be there.

Cox remarked in a now-deleted tweet about her arrest. The tweet asked, “Did they really just put me on the news BC I went to jail for a DOCTORS NOTE???.”

Forging the signature of a licensed doctor is a major crime in the state of South Carolina.

She followed up with more social media posts claiming it was okay to use whatever she had at her disposal to get out of class. Her reasoning was that she was a teenage beauty queen. “I’ve got to learn to stop being so childish and keep my mouth closed,” Cox added.

When people started calling her out on Twitter, she replied “It’s sad that I’m the only entertainment in y’alls lives.”

The forgery charges, however, have been dropped by the South Carolina law enforcement officials. This is despite the fact that Cox does not believe her crime was even serious.
