It’s only a matter of time before our society as we know it breaks down entirely, more so than it already has. And it appears that moral decay has already begun to hit major corporations. The recent discovery of bogus parts with falsified certifications in major airline engines is an example of how greed can lead to dangerous consequences.
United Airlines recently discovered suspect parts on two of their planes, which were undergoing routine maintenance.
According to Insider, the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) issued a notification about the London-based supplier AOG Technics last month, suspecting unapproved parts.
On Wednesday, September 20 these allegations were brought before a London court when partner companies in engine maker CFM International asked for AOG to turn over documents related to every single sale of its products.

CFM lawyers argued that “the apparent large-scale falsification of documentation uncovered by the claimants gives rise to the risk that evidence relevant to these proceedings will be destroyed by the defendants.”
It appears that some of these parts are for critical components like engine blades; 96 engines with AOG parts have already been identified.
Some other airlines affected include Southwest Airlines and Virgin Australia Airlines – all due to one company’s suspect practices.
But why would any company do something so reckless?
Science author Laurel Hamers offered her theory on this: people tend to follow their leaders when it comes to immoral behavior.
We’ve seen this play out time and again with our current President Joe Biden who has been caught telling countless lies throughout his political career.
This kind of moral decay trickles down into everyday society until trust between citizens becomes nonexistent – something that is essential for peaceable coexistence and progress.
The issue here isn’t just about faulty airplane parts or even lying politicians; it’s about what happens when an entire system is corrupted from within by individuals motivated solely by profit-seeking motives rather than morality or ethical principles.
