A child sex offender from Georgia is finally under arrest.
Brad A. Hatter was arrested in 2005 in Georgia.
He was attempting to meet a 9-year-old girl for sexual activity.
After evading law enforcement for five years, he is finally in custody.

Hatter had arranged to meet the girl online.
However, when he showed up, it was the police that were there to meet him, not a little girl.
In 2007, he was convicted of attempting to entice a minor to engage in sexual activity.
He was given a sentence of nine years.
Police stated that after being released, he stopped reporting to his probation officer and was no longer registering as a sex offender.
Then he just disappeared.
Local authorities asked the U.S. Marshals Service for help, and Hatter was eventually tracked down to the Philippines, then Mexico.
When authorities arrested him, he was actually working as a school teacher.
U.S. Marshals worked with Mexican authorities to take him into custody on Saturday.
Thomas Brown, U.S. Marshal for the Northern District of Georgia, stated, “Since 2018, Mr. Hatter has been looking over his shoulder, knowing one day Deputy United States Marshals would find him.
“On Saturday, December 3rd, that day arrived. The U.S. Marshals would not give up their hunt.
“Hatter is now back where he belongs, in the custody of the United States Government.”
