It did not take long at all for the jury to bring in its verdict.
After all of three hours and one minute, Alex Murdaugh was found guilty.
He now faces up to 30 years in jail without parole.
Guilty as Charged
There was little doubt that he was guilty, but you never know these days.
After all, if OJ can get off, just about anyone can.
There was also some praise over his testimony, even by some conservatives.
To be clear, they were not defending the man, just saying that his testimony was very skillfully planned and could have made it difficult to get a conviction.
When all was said and done, however, the jury got it right.

“Today’s verdict proves that no one, no one, no matter who you are in society, is above the law.”
Thankfully, justice has been served and this man is never likely to walk around free again.
