When this trump supporter went out for a meal with his friends at a Texas restaurant, he never would’ve expected the cops to be called on him after handing a $20 bill to the cashier.
David Hill posted about the bizarre incident on his Facebook page, explaining the chain of events that unfolded when he decided to go out to eat with some friends.
After heading to a local restaurant and enjoying his meal, Hill stated that things took a turn for the worst when it was time for him to pay the bill.
“Unknowingly, the $20 bill I had in my wallet had ‘Trump Lives Here’ written in permanent marker on the White House,” Hill explained.
Oddly enough, it only took those three words to upset the employee behind the counter.
“The cashier looks at it and says, ‘I can’t take this money, its invalid because it’s been defaced,’” Hill recalled.
Hill was left stunned, however the cashier stood their ground, asking him if he had another form of payment to which Hill replied no.
With both parties at a deadlock, the employee threatened to call the police, which Hill welcomed. A small group of onlookers gathered after police had arrived at the scene to relieve the situation.
The employee explained to police that, “This man is attempting to pass counterfeit currency which has been defaced, and I’m not accepting it.” However, the employee did not get the reaction they hoped for when the officers demanded to take a closer look at the money.
“Son, there are millions of bills with writing on them, and it is valid currency, so kindly take it and give the gentleman his change,” the officer informed the employee after examining the bill.
To the shock of many, the employee responded, “Nope. I’m not taking it. Because anything with Trump’s name on it disgusts me, he’s not my President.”

The officer replied, “Ok here’s the deal, take the money and give the gentleman his proper change or his lunch is free today because he’s trying to pay you for the meal.” The liberal cashier continued to refuse the money, giving Hill a free meal.
At that point, the officer told the cashier, “I guess when word gets out that meals are free if Trump’s name is written on a $20 bill on The White House, this place will get swamped with people wanting to eat for free.”
And while defacing a bill is frowned upon, technically it is only illegal to deface money to the point it is “rendered unusable” which was not the case in this incident.
People need to learn that when working with the public, you need to leave your political bias at home.
