Jackson was an undrafted free agent that Belichick turned into a monster in the secondary.
He took his four years in New England and landed an $82.5 million contract that included a $25 million signing bonus, with $40 million guaranteed overall.
Once he went to the Chargers, he missed games due to an ankle injury, then wound up being benched not even halfway into the season.
He played in the first two games of this season, but he was a healthy scratch in Game 3, and now we know why.
