Actress Jennifer Coolidge claims her famous role in “American Pie” has helped her land “like 200” sexual partners. She calls the number of her sexual partners as one of the many benefits she got from scoring that role.
In a recent interview with Variety magazine the 60 year-old star talked about everything from how her current role, on HBO’s “The White Lotus,” has led to her first Emmy nomination to how her career (and sex life) took off after her role in the raunchy 1999 comedy which ended a career dry spell.
“Ten years of my life was of auditioning,” Coolidge claimed. “None of it added up to a job. The fear is gone when you’re so used to losing. There’s some freedom in that.”
Variety shared a clip of the interview on Twitter. It shows a Q&A session with the performer. She talked candidly about the “sexual action” she got due to her “American Pie” role.

“You know, I got a lot of play at being a MILF and I got a lot of sexual action from ‘American Pie,’” the actress claimed. “Just, you know what I mean, there were so many benefits to doing that movie.”
“I mean, there would be like 200 people that I would never have slept with,” she added, though it is unclear if Coolidge was being literal.
At one point the “Legally Blonde” star was hesitant to talk about her Emmy nomination. This September she will be up against four other performers from her HBO show, as well as two from Hulu’s “Dopesick.”
“Maybe I got this special attention because people saw me as Stifler’s mom [American Pie] or the ‘Legally Blonde’ woman,” the actress shared. “So if they see something else…”
“My friends are all surprised that this fluky thing happened,” the star continued. “My life was going a certain way for a very long time. I’m afraid if I analyze it too much, I’ll ruin it.”
