During the primary races, Democrats were trying to find extremist candidates to make the general election easier for battleground candidates.

Now they find themselves trailing in some of those races, so they have a new tactic.

Democrats are now reportedly funding third-party candidates that can draw votes away from Republicans in the general election.

Playing Dirty

The new strategy is being employed by numerous groups affiliated with Democrat officials.

According to one Democrat strategist, this has been going on forever and both sides have always done it.

If that is the case, how come it has never been publicized like it is now?

Brad Bannon, a Democratic strategist, stated, “It’s an old tactic and one that both parties have used.

“It doesn’t always work, but in a close race, if you can shift even a few hundred votes away from your opponent, it could mean the difference between winning and losing.”

The American Center is backing Dennis Pyle, an independent “conservative,” to try to derail Derek Schmidt in the gubernatorial race.

The Voter Protection Project (VPP), which has ties to Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT), has spent $160,000 pushing Libertarian David Canny over GOP nominee Paul Junge for a Michigan House seat.

One of the ads states, “Paul Junge spent a career in California politics.

“Don’t let Paul Junge bring California values to Michigan. David [Canny] will stop wasteful spending.”

The Michigan Republican Party responded, “The new Democrat playbook is to meddle in our elections by boosting the libertarian candidate.

“Confusing the public and attempting to suppress voters.”

Sadly, the Biden administration has refused to comment on this.

Karma always figures things out, and I think she is going to have a big day on November 8.
