Pete Buttigieg, like most of Joe Biden’s appointments, has been a complete and utter disaster.

Most of us were shocked when Biden appointed Buttigieg.

This was especially true when considering the attacks Biden made against little Petey during the campaign.

Biden had deleted one of the worst videos, but it had been archived, and now it blowing up.

What Changed?

Only months before naming Buttigieg as his Secretary of Transportation, Joe Biden had put this ad out attacking Buttigieg during the Democrat primary…

I cannot help but wonder what changed since then?

Nothing, other than Buttigieg offering a timely drop out to help Biden secure the nomination.

Were it not for Buttigieg dropping out when he did, it may have been Bernie Sanders facing off against Trump in 2020.

When Buttigieg dropped out, we all knew there would be a Cabinet position for him, but why something so important and so difficult, especially considering the challenges on this from the pandemic?

Biden made him sound like a champ when he nominated him, stating, “He speaks to the best of who we are as a nation.

“I am nominating him for Secretary of Transportation because he’s equipped to take on the challenges at the intersection of jobs, infrastructure, equity, and climate.”

Now Biden’s critics are pouncing, with Matt Whitlock stating, “Regular reminder that before he named him as Transportation Secretary, Joe Biden mocked Mayor Pete for his inexperience, noting that one of his greatest accomplishments was installing twinkly lights under bridges.

“Probably should’ve listened to his own ads.

“This was one of the most devastating ads of the Dem Primary.

“And a huge indictment of the Biden team’s decision to name Pete a cabinet Secretary.”

And then there is this tweet…

Appointments in this administration were never about ability.

Instead, they were and always have been about political favors.
