Can Donald Trump beat Joe Biden in a general election?
That is the question that scares me to death if Trump gets the nomination.
Well, recent polling has shown that Trump is now ahead of Biden.

Even as bad as Biden had been doing, he was still ahead of Trump.
That trend has started to reverse.
A new McLaughlin & Associates poll now has Trump ahead of Biden.
The lead is not significant, at 48-44, but any lead by Trump is good news.
Trump really only needs to be close in national polls to win this election.
I say that because a national poll is not really reflective of how a general election will play out because of the electoral college.
We saw that in 2016, where Trump trailed in all national polls, but won the election because he won key states.
This is only one poll, but it is very good news Trump.
Let’s keep an eye on this and see how it pans out as Trump continues to hammer away leading into the primary.
