A carjacker has been shot and killed by his intended victim. The woman shot the criminal with his gun. The whole incident happened in Las Vegas when the would-be carjacker left his gun on the seat while trying to steal her vehicle.

Jaylin Morrison has been identified as the carjacker and has now been taken into custody. the 18-year-old is also wanted in connection with the homicide.

The carjacking took place when two women were sitting in their car on November 19. Another vehicle pulled up in an attempt to block their escape. Three men with guns jumped out of the vehicle blocking them and proceeded to attack the women.

One man dragged the woman who was sitting in the driver’s seat out of the car. He then entered the car and attempted to flee the scene.

The suspect at the time of entering the vehicle placed his gun on his lap while trying to take control of the car. It was at this time that the woman said she took the gun from him.

She then described being attacked from behind by one of the other men. It was at this time she then turned towards her attacker and fired the gun. She shot at least one bullet in her attacker’s direction.

The woman claims that she was also being shot at while she was on the ground. She was able to get away and hide in a yard nearby.

It was while she was hiding that she heard someone yelling that their friend had been shot. She only came out of hiding once the police arrived.

The man who was shot died from his wounds. Las Vegas police said the victim had begun shooting out of self-defense in their report, according to Komo News

Morrison was arrested after police were tipped off that the dead carjacker had been hanging out with the 18-year-old.

Detectives later identified Morrison as a suspect in the carjacking. This is after investigators claim his cell phone GPS records indicate his presence at the crime scene when teh carjacking was taking place.
