Guess who has been racking up private jet miles again?
Yes, that would be our old friend Nancy Pelosi.
According to the latest FEC filings, Pelosi spent about $40,000 for private flights during the last quarter.
Emergency!
There are definitely times when flying private may be needed.
If there were a true emergency, that is understandable.
However, Pelosi is no longer the Speaker and as far as I know, nothing urgent has popped up since she lost the gavel.
So, why is she racking up more than $40,000 in private jet fees?
Over the last three years, she has paid more than $700,000 in private jet fees, so what is someone that tells us we need to dial back our carbon emissions contributing to the problem so much?
Private jets emit 10 times more carbon than commercial jets, yet we see these members of Congress flying private, and using campaign dollars to do it!
This is why people should stop donating to politicians.
If you do, pull their campaign spending records (they are all public record) and see how much of that money goes to the actual campaign and how much goes to supporting their lavish lifestyles.
You are going to be surprised, that I can guarantee you.
