John Kerry has been jetting around the globe like he’s rich and famous, rubbing elbows with all the trendy European banking family types and anybody who’s anybody in Brussels. Carbon footprint doesn’t seem to mean a thing to our official Climate Czar when he climbs into private jets on a regular basis. Congress can’t get anyone to tell them exactly what he’s been up to, as he lurches around the planet. That has folks nervous because, right now, he’s a lot more welcome in China than alleged Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

Kerry chummy with China

Taking a few moments away from the big investigation into Biden family crimes, or perhaps inspired by what he’s recently uncovered, House Oversight and Accountability Committee Chairman James Comer turned his attention to “Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry.” Particularly, Kerry’s “climate negotiations with China.

How does Lurch get face time with Chinese officials when Blinky can’t even get anyone to return his calls? The only thing special about the former Secretary of State, besides being the driving force behind the Heinz company bankruptcy, is he’s the one who packed up all those “pallets of cash” Barack Obama sent off to Iran.

Comer’s committee has broad investigative authority, and the chairman has been using it. His panel “remains concerned” about the “high-level role in setting climate policy” John Kerry’s been playing, despite the fact he’s “never been confirmed by the Senate.” Blinky’s branch of government “confirmed Friday that Kerry recently restarted climate talks with his Chinese counterpart and is planning additional meetings.

Blinken was supposed to visit China but that whole spy balloon thing threw a monkey wrench in his plans. Since then, China got a new foreign minister. “Wolf Warrior” Qin Gang may “dance with the wolves of Washington” but he won’t make eye contact with Blinky.

For the past two years, the Biden Administration has withheld information on John Kerry’s role within the Administration despite the committee’s many requests,” Comer revealed to Fox News. Kerry “as not confirmed by the Senate. He is not held accountable by the American people. He is skirting congressional oversight and that is unacceptable.

The Climate Czar last spoke virtually with his counterpart, Xie Zhenhua, in April “as part of their ongoing conversations on the critical work needed to avoid the worst consequences of the climate crisis,” a State Department spokesperson told Fox News Digital. “He has been invited by Xie Zhenhua to visit China at some point in the future and continue these conversations in person, but no formal plans for this meeting have been made.

Domestic energy security

Comer is nervous that our so called climate envoy might sell us out to the CCP. China is the number one polluter on the planet, hands down, and has no intention at all of easing up. The whole “carbon tax” credit scheme was meant as a way to allow China to keep polluting the planet in exchange for cash, buying up “carbon credits” from green dream sanctuaries like California.

The state needs to pay for those reparations somehow and that’s a viable option. The reported “negotiations” Kerry has scheduled with Beijing on “climate topics” isn’t only something he’s done on “numerous occasions,” it’s “inappropriate and potentially undermines U.S. interests and domestic energy security.

If Kerry continues his “engagement in shady negotiations,” Comer proclaims, the plot “will be met with intense scrutiny by the committee.” His committee already sent a letter last week to Blinken, “related to Kerry’s role as special envoy at the State Department.” Even though Blinky won’t turn over things he’s obligated to by subpoena, Comer expects “nothing less than full cooperation” from the agency.

What’s one more lawsuit to enforce a subpoena at this point? Oh, by the way, you may want to watch for a real special press conference Comer will be giving on Wednesday, May 10. The network media is working hard to cover it up and you’ll soon see why.

This oversight issue isn’t something brand new for Comer’s committee. Some “internal State Department emails obtained by Fox News Digital suggest that there is little agency oversight of Kerry’s work and that he is considered to be on the same level as Blinken.

The committee is starting to wonder if Kerry is really the one in charge, on the sly. After all, he was Blinken’s boss while Joe Biden was Vice President. That’s just one more reason to tune in to the big press conference Wednesday. The one that Comer warned Merrick Garland not to indict Hunter Biden before watching.
