The FBI has finally caved to the demands of Rep. James Comer (R-KY) and his House Oversight Committee.
Comer finally got a spine and gave FBI Director Wray an ultimatum.
Give us the FD-1023 that implicates Biden in a bribery scheme or risk getting indicted for contempt of Congress.
Just like Secretary of State Blinken, Wray folded after the final deadline was given.
Give Us the Document
The document in question details an alleged bribery scheme involving Joe Biden.
Wray did not want to share the document under the guise of protecting his sources.
Like Blinken, Wray appears to not want to have to put Attorney General Merrick Garland in a tight spot, so he is giving Comer and ranking member Rep. Raskin (D-MD) access to the document in a secure SCIF.
I can probably already tell you how this will play out.
Raskin will go out right after seeing the document and downplay it as much as possible, saying it is much ado about nothing.
Comer will come out and say that the White House is burning down with a possible traitor now living in the building.
This will come down to Comer being able to prove whatever allegations are inside of that document, but there will be further ramifications on this front.
Wray is also going to have to defend the position not to investigate the claim against Biden, and I am not really sure anything he says will be satisfactory to Republicans.
