A former first-round selection for the Toronto Maple Leafs has died.
Forward prospect Rodion Amirov, the first-round pick of the Leafs in the 2020 NHL draft, passed away.
According to reports, he died from a brain tumor, but it is not quite that cut and dry.
The Link
Amirov was struggling a bit in the early going, even getting sent down for a spell.
He also had a history of injury problems, which hurt his playing time.
When he finally seemed to get things going in the right direction, he wound up testing positive for COVID.
Then, while recovering from yet another injury, the team announced, “new, unrelated symptoms that required ongoing extensive investigations over the last few months” had developed.
Not long after that, Amirov was diagnosed with a brain tumor.
So, we have seen this rash of high school and college-aged athletes develop serious health issues, mostly cardiac related, and now we have someone else who had COVID, then developed a brain tumor.
This is not long just an odd coincidence.
We need to learn more about the long-term effects of COVID and the vaccines because this rash of deaths cannot just be a coincidence.
What are they hiding from us?
