Protester Attacks Justice Barrett, Now LISTEN to How She Responds…

When a pro-abortion protester called out Justice Amy Coney Barrett during her appearance at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, she offered the response that she has grown accustomed to having seven children and is therefore used to “distractions and sometimes even outbursts.”

While Justice Barrett was in the middle of discussing the topic of aggressive media coverage during her nomination, a member of the Revolutionary Communist Party, later identified as Luna Hernandez, could be heard shouting from the crowd.

“Amy Coney Barrett, you are an enslaver of women,” the woman proclaimed, interrupting the event.

In an attempt to laugh off the comment, Barrett responded by saying, “as a mother of seven, I am used to distractions — and sometimes even outbursts.”

In a press release about the protest, Hernandez labelled Justice Barrett’s response “infantilizing.”

“Women are not children. When I said that forced motherhood is female enslavement, I was not having a ‘childish outburst,’” she stated in the press release published by the Revolutionary Communist Party’s sub-group “RiseUp4AbortionRights.”

In a 2020 dissenting opinion, Justice Clarence Thomas wrote, “Our abortion precedents are grievously wrong and should be overruled.”

During a hearing in December of 2021, Justice Barrett said stare decisis was not an “inexorable command” and that, “there are some circumstances in which overruling is possible.”

According to a report from The Hill, Justice Kavanaugh has also appeared “sympathetic” to the view that abortion issues are best left to the states themselves.
