As a result of Biden’s weak policy, the surge in number of illegal migrants attempting to cross the border has begun to hit an all-time high. Illegal immigrants can now feel more confident when crossing the border as the concern for consequences is incredibly low coupled with the hard-earned taxes of Americans being put to use to support the immigrants after their journey into the country.
That being said, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has decided to take a stand against Biden’s policy in an incredibly effective and direct way.
Abbott has chosen to transport migrants to the nations capitol, and therefore to Biden directly, who originally established the problem in Texas to begin with.
Texas has been hit the hardest when compared to the rest of the country as a result of Biden’s faulty border security policies, with the state receiving 2 million plus illegal immigrants who have crossed the southern border in 2021 alone.
Fox News made the report that the first two busloads of immigrants have arrived in the nation’s capital.
A second bus from Texas arrived near the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., just before 4:30 a.m. Thursday, transporting more than a dozen illegal immigrants as part of Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s new plan to counter federal immigration policies during an ongoing border crisis.
Abbott announced last week that he was directing the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) to transport migrants released from federal custody in Texas to the nation’s capital and other locations outside his state.
Fourteen migrants stepped off the bus a block from Union Station on First Street. The migrants are from Venezuela, Nicaragua, Cuba and Colombia, one man said.
Abbott posted a tweet that contained a video from Fox News which shows migrants arriving in the nation’s capital on the first bus.
“As the federal government continues to turn a blind eye to the border crisis, Texas will remain steadfast in our efforts to fill in the gaps & keep Texans safe. We should not have to bear the burden of Biden’s failure to secure our border. A second bus is en route.”

According to TDEM, Abbott’s plan is already working. The agency told Fox News on Monday that many of the communities that originally reached out for support – from the Rio Grande Valley to Terrell County – say the federal government stopped dropping immigrants in their towns since Abbott’s announcement on April 6.
TDEM said it dispatched buses over the weekend to border communities where it coordinated with officials to identify these immigrants. The agency added that each bus has the capacity and supplies necessary to carry up to 40 migrants released in Texas communities and transport them to Washington, D.C.
The governor’s legal authority to transport busloads of migrants to the U.S. Capitol remains in question. The 2012 Supreme Court case Arizona v. the United States prevents states from making their own immigration policies.
Abbott insists that the federal government is failing to adequately address the situation.
“Texans demand and deserve an aggressive, comprehensive strategy to secure our border—not President Biden’s lackluster leadership,” Abbott said in a statement. “As the federal government continues to roll back commonsense policies that once kept our communities safe, our local law enforcement has stepped up to protect Texans from dangerous criminals, deadly drugs, and illegal contraband flooding into the Lone Star State.”
Its clear that the public does not want illegal immigration, however Biden will probably break the record he set only only this past year. This is an incredibly undemocratic action that not only goes against both the law but also the wishes of the people who elected him.
Hopefully Biden will recognize this situation is truly his problem if hundreds of thousands of illegal migrants turn up on his doorstep in Washington and, as a result, do something about it.
